J C Austin Garden Services

I provide a range of garden & land maintenance services, including mowing, hedge-cutting, strimming, ground clearance and paddock topping and harrowing. I provide my own equipment but where preferable can use your machinery. I can provide garden services for small to medium gardens. Anton Daw Groundworks

I undertake groundwork, water-work and general building for domestic, farm and commercial customers. Groundwork includes such tasks as building foundations; road and path construction; hard landscaping and land remodelling. I also undertake general ground clearance, land rehabilitation and preparation for soft landscaping. Water work includes pond and lake construction and maintenance; fresh-water land drainage and sewerage, including connection to main sewerage systems. I also provide general building work, including new-build and extensions. I am based near Rushlake Green but can undertake work over a wide area within the Region. River Mead Nursery

River Mead Nursery is a small nursery smallholding in Foord Lane, Vines Cross run by Julie Manktelow and Philip Church, selling a variety of plants and vegetables.  We grow all manner of plants for retail such as trees (ornamental and fruit), shrubs, perennials, annuals, bedding plants, vegetable plants, agaves and cacti. You will receive a friendly welcome and we will share advice and help in all aspects of growing these plants and try and help in any gardening problems you may have. We are in the process of building up a trade in selling eggs, seasonal vegetable and fruit, our runner beans just run out the door!  We also sell daffodils and sweetpeas when in season and are hoping to expand our range of cut flowers in the near future.
